G4 Group chaired at the "Bioenergy Markets West Africa" conference at Accra in Ghana on 26-29 October 2009 and also delivered a well received paper on sustainable bioenergy development in the region.

G4 Group chaired a Partners for Euro-African Green Energy workshop entitled "Sustainable Bioenergy: Opportunities and Challenges for the Developing World" in Brussels, Belgium on 19th. March 2010. The audience consisted of high level policymakers, EU Permanent Representatives including an EU Commissioner, representatives of EU Directorate-Generals, members of Development and Energy committees of the EU Parliament, UN bodies , the African, Indian and Malaysian Ambassadors to the EU, as well as development banks, leading academics and NGO's.

G4 Group attended, as an invited international expert, a high level roundtable convened in Dakar, Senegal  held on 12th. -14th. April 2010 by New Partnerships for African Development (NEPAD) for the purpose of developing a programme document for Bioenergy/Renewable Energy on the continent of Africa. 

G4 Group will be supporting the West African Economic and Monetary Union block of countries (UEMOA) at the forthcoming Africa Energy Forum taking place in Basle, Switzerland from 29th. June to 1st July. UEMOA will be seeking support for its Bioenergy Initiative in West Africa.

G4 Group will be a leading exhibitor and presenter at the forthcoming World Refining Association conference taking place in Amsterdam, Holland from the 9th. -12th. November.
